When one mentions "The Pearl" or the "Black Pearl" it is so obviously a reference to our moon and it's dark sister Lilith (Athena Medusa)

Some other interesting quotes to verify this is Medusa we are dealing with is when one pirate says

"I signed up to sail with Jack Sparrow not some imposter" ... "And a Lady at that"

A LADY .... "First mate is a her?"

(Penelope Cruz) dresses and pretends to be a man, which is entirely what Medusa/Athena does
